THE MIDWEST GREAT WAR LIVING HISTORY ASSOCIATION
Welcome to the website of the Midwest Great War Living History Association. The MGWLHA is a non-profit dedicated to the education of the public about the practical realities of soldierly life in World War I and other historical eras. The organization is centered in Kansas City but holds events throughout the midwest and has members across the nation.
This website is intended to be an information center for World War I Living History. Towards this goal, we are building resources to help experienced historians and people new to living history with research, impressions and supplies.
- A public calendar of living history events across the country
- A gallery of period photographs for reference and research
- A visual and textual guide to impressions
- An index of vendors and suppliers specializing in World War I.
If you have any suggestions for the website or the resources listed above, contact us.

Upcoming MGWLHA Event
| The MGWLHA is hosting a re-enactment at Squadron Field, in southeast Kansas north of Parsons. We will depict entrenched and semi-mobile action. There will be opportunities to work on the trenches and recreate tactical manoeuvres. Expect night action! This will be the best event yet! |
