THE NATIONAL WORLD WAR ONE MUSEUM
Kansas City is the home of the National World War One Museum, a world-class museum dedicated to the memory of the soldiers who fought and died in World War I. Located underneath Liberty Memorial in the heart of Kansas City, the museum re-opened in 2006 after extensive renovation and reconstruction.
Occasionally the MGWLHA will hold living history events at the museum. Members in World War I uniform (impressions) will volunteer for educational activities, special events, or just to enhance the visitor experience for museum guests. The Museum has a very high standard of authenticity for these events and pre-registration is required.
On our events page you can find a calendar of upcoming museum events, plus upcoming exhibits and activities at the World War I museum.

Upcoming MGWLHA Event
| The MGWLHA is hosting a re-enactment at Squadron Field, in southeast Kansas north of Parsons. We will depict entrenched and semi-mobile action. There will be opportunities to work on the trenches and recreate tactical manoeuvres. Expect night action! This will be the best event yet! |
